OUR STORY

OUR STORY

In 1959, L&M Meats was created as a dream company for founders, Laddie and Marie Novak. They worked hard, used only the finest ingredients and family recipes from their native Czechoslovakia (now the Czech Republic). They raised a family of five children in our Grand Forks community; Ilona, Laddie Jr, Vera, Garry, and Jeff as well as many many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Over the years, while their family grew, so did their business. But, they never gave up on their commitment to hard work and excellent customer service, fair pricing, and always providing a fresh, high-quality product.

Today their legacy lives on through this store, and the family members and amazing staff who continue to own and operate it. Thank you Grand Forks for giving us over 60 years of love and support.
